Treasured Moments: Great Grandma & Grandpa & Christmas cuties

It was so nice to have Mary & Leon join us for brunch at Elisa's. We feel blessed to have them in our lives. We are also grateful for our beautiful children!

Success

To laugh often and love much;
to win the respect of intelligent persons
and the affections of children;
to win the approbation of honest critics
and endure the betrayal of false friends;
to appreciate beauty; to find the best in others;
to give of one's self; to leave the world a bit better,
whether by a healthy child, a garden patch,
or a redeemed social condition;
to have played and laughed with enthusiasm,
and sung with exultation;
to know even one life has breathed easier
because you have lived . . .
This is to have succeeded

Favorite Quotes

Plato's Idea of Beauty
"The second stage of beauty surpasses the first of physical beauty; it is more valuable than the beauty of the body. It is eternal; it neither comes into being nor passes away, it is not anything corporeal, it is absolute, existing alone with itself in such a manner that it neither undergoes any increases or suffers any changes."

Friends
Let's be grateful for those who give us happiness; they are the charming gardners who make our soul bloom

Our Authenticity
"The most authentic thing about us is our capacity to create, to overcome, to endure, to transform, to love, and to be greater than our suffering"

Communication
"Communication is not what you say or thought you said, It's what they hear and what they think you meant." Therefore communication is not intent it is perception and perception equals reality."
