So we all quickly returned home to honor Mom. There was just enough seats on the plane to fit Tyra, Bryce and their children. We traveled with 5 children under five and they all did so well. Dave,Kim and their family were in New York where David was receiving his PH.D. so they traveled straight to Washington for Mom. All of the immediate family was able to attend and it was a beautiful tribute to Mom. The day was beautiful reflection of Mom, all of her favorite flowers were in bloom and she had many dear friends and family attend her service. We are so grateful for all of the wonderful relationships she shared here on earth and know that she gets to keep them forever.
